The Pearl at Jamestown is seeking an RN/LPN to join their team as a Wellness Director. The Wellness Director provides overall leadership and management of the health and well‑being of residents, overseeing all clinical programs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The role also includes training and onboarding clinical and care coordinator team members, and partnering with the Regional Director of Resident Care to deliver Medication Care Manager training where permitted.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, and have at least two years of department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals. Demonstrated leadership abilities and multi‑department experience are strongly recommended, along with knowledge of the assisted‑living industry, dementia care, or skilled nursing.
Key skills include understanding infection control procedures, the ability to schedule, orient, and train staff, proficiency with MS Office, and the capability to implement Personalized Service Plans. The candidate should also understand advanced directives, end‑of‑life care, the assisted‑living philosophy, and the nursing role in achieving quality of care and quality of life objectives.
