Nassau County - Registered Architect with strong building code and zoning experience

Manage projects through all phases of design and construction

Lead documentation team and provide QA/QC

Responsible for stamping the projects they manage

Work directly with clients to ensure satisfaction including assisting with bid, negotiation and awarding contractors

Assist in building code and zoning reviews and work with NYC agencies including DOB, FDNY, DOT, DPR and DCP

Review submittals and shop drawings during CA phase

Research products and specifications

Forensic architecture experience is a plus

5-15 years of relevant professional experience

This full service architectural firm works on projects from concept through construction, providing building code and zoning analysis, per-construction services and works on a variety of project types including TPP, OPP, FPP, FSEP, OT, façade repair, sidewalk shed, and adjacent property protection. This is a unique opportunity to join a firm with a path to equity/partnership! US architecture license required. Must be willing to work in their Long Island office 5 days a week.

AutoCAD is required, Revit proficiency is a bonus

Strong technical and communication skills

QEWI certification and façade repair experience is a bonus

Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture

Experience with all phases of design and construction

Architectural licensure is required

Ability and willingness to stamp drawings
