- Leading Field Operations Directing a field crew on a variety of projects, including topographic, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.
- Data Integrity and QA/QC Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all field data, maintaining detailed field notes, and performing on-site quality control.
- Team and Project Management Managing project schedules, coordinating with project managers and clients, and training and mentoring junior crew members.

- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors and/or Total Station;
- Familiar with detailed Topographic Surveys and ADA Surveys.
- Knowledge of industry specific safe workplace principles and practices;
- Familiarity with Column and Bolt-Pattern layout and as-built surveys.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Problem-Solving Applying your experience to solve complex field challenges and adapting to changing project conditions.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment;
- Ability to work outdoors under various field conditions;
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and instruments used in computer aided drafting;
- Operating Advanced Equipment Independently using and troubleshooting modern survey equipment. A strong working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment (e.g., robotic total stations, GPS) and software is required.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans, and regulations related to construction;
- 8+ years' survey crew chief experience;
- Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying;
