To provide a key focus in supporting customers, internal quality and pro-active right first-time methodology.
The team are accountable for internal assembly & manufacturing operations, focusing on internal improvement activities along with efficiently delivering day to day activities.
You will be working closely with customers, quality assurance team members as well as manufacturing team leaders, product leaders and manufacturing engineers.
The objective is to drive customer satisfaction by improvements to our Total Cost of Quality (TCoQ), On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery and other KPI’s.

Understanding of ISO9001, AS9100D, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
Fully proficient in DMAIC, 8D, 5Y, 7 wastes or other improvement tools.
The ability to work individually and as part of a team to maximise the challenges of this position is essential.
Experience in either low volume mechanical assembly and/or operating in a precision machining batch environment.
Excellent communicator at both the shop floor level with the appetite and ability to present data/action plans to senior management.
Expert problem solver with extensive experience of implementing effective long-term improvement.
Fully conversant with engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong people and motivational skills to drive improvements in all areas of responsibility.
Degree, HNC or equivalent with engineering content.
A background of low volume assembly, precision machining of steels & castings would be advantageous.
Have working knowledge of 6 sigma, GR&R, SPC, DoE.
