Parsons is looking for a talented C‑UAS Test Engineer to join its Federal Solutions team. In this role you will design, conduct, analyze, and report on Counter‑Unmanned Aircraft Systems performance tests. A minimum of a Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security, mathematics/statistics, or engineering, and have 2‑4 years of relevant experience (or 4+ years daily data analytics). Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, Linux, and test design/reporting is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of test methods and systems engineering processes are essential. You must be able to collaborate within cross‑functional teams and communicate technical information to multiple stakeholders. Managing multiple tasks with competing priorities in politically sensitive environments is also expected.
Desired skills include basic mechanical understanding and experience working with tools. Experience with RF transmission, detection, and deterrence equipment, as well as UAS operation, command‑control, and guidance systems, is desired. Prior testing of Counter‑UAS systems and the ability to interface with customers at various levels are valuable. High tact and interpersonal communication skills are necessary for daily interactions with team members, clients, vendors, and end‑users.
