Support regional or national projects in specific areas of technical expertise.
Accomplish work independently and through coordinating or supervising small to large technical and professional teams from local and regional offices.
Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out).
Mentor mid-level and junior staff in field survey techniques (wetland delineations, stream assessments, etc.), permitting (primarily CWA), and in technical writing.
Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents.
Plan and direct medium- to large-size environmental planning and permitting projects for transportation, water/wastewater, facilities, power, and other programs as identified.
Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
Contributed specimens to a herbarium or rare plant record to a state Natural Heritage program within the past 5 years
Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance.

A minimum of 2 years project management experience

NEPA experience with power and/or renewable energy clients and projects, including but not limited to TVA. Specific, relevant experience working on NEPA documentation and supporting technical reports for the following types of projects is highly desirable:
Working knowledge of the flora, both common and T&E species in the Tennessee Valley
Seller/doer approach with experience in developing client and agency relationships
