The Autonomous Vehicles integrate complex electro-mechanical systems, high-precision sensors, and cutting-edge software to operate in challenging environments. The Production Manager will be responsible for scaling, planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities to meet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will be managing a team of production supervisors and technician staff in the production and delivery of products through acceptance testing and delivery.

- Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key manufacturing fundamentals
- Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles
- Experience being hands-on and prefer to be on the production floor and have proven skills in both process and equipment troubleshooting, allowing you to easily adapt to constantly changing production environments
- Willing to work on hardware hands on as needed by production
- Knowledge of fiber optics, sonar systems, acoustic sensors, or marine navigation systems.
- Experience working in safety and quality critical environments such as energetics, aerospace, chemicals, etc.
- Can interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, electrical schematics, etc.)
- A full understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), LEAN manufacturing principals, and change management
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and MES platforms for tracking work orders and materials.
- Previous involvement in NPI programs with exposure to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with AUVs, ROVs, or other marine robotic systems.
- 8+ years of experience managing or supervising in a high volume production environment
