Full-service construction company offering industrial, commercial, and civil services.
The Laborer is responsible for performing manual labor tasks on construction or plant operation sites, ensuring work is completed safely, productively, and to a high standard. They must maintain awareness of safety hazards, use tools and equipment correctly, and provide feedback to keep materials, tools, and information readily available.
Key duties include cleaning and preparing sites, digging footings and trenches, back‑filling, loading and unloading materials, stripping concrete forms, and operating a variety of power tools such as vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, and chipping guns. The Laborer also sets braces to support excavation sides, assists other craft workers, and performs other basic physical tasks as needed.
Physically, the role requires the ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), and to work in repetitive motions involving the hands, arms, and legs. The worker must climb, balance on scaffolding, ladders, and uneven or muddy surfaces, and be able to handle prolonged bending, crouching, standing, and exposure to adverse weather conditions.
Mentally, the Laborer must communicate effectively with supervisors, maintain concentration amid distractions, and demonstrate decision‑making and detail‑oriented skills. The ability to remember, examine, and observe details is essential for safe and efficient performance.
