The role sits within capital delivery, where you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver multiple water and water‑recycling projects under the AMP8 programme. You will ensure that the client’s project governance – including risk, cost, and change control – is adhered to while working closely with other business teams.
Key responsibilities include supporting the associate director, providing subject‑matter expertise, and managing design teams, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. You will prepare integrated schedules, oversee time, cost, risk and budget performance, and drive digital and net‑zero carbon objectives while meeting strategic KPIs.
Mace blends construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in projects and people, guided by core values that shape its culture. The company is partnering with a utilities provider in the South‑East, whose purpose is to deliver services sustainably, economically, and socially responsible, creating long‑term value.
The ideal candidate has substantial project‑management experience across small to large, complex construction environments and holds professional qualifications such as MCIOB, MAPM or MRICS, or is working towards them.
