prompt engineering
You have foundational knowledge of power system concepts such as load forecasting, state estimation, fault detection, and grid stability, and can integrate these with AI/ML techniques to build smarter, more resilient energy systems.
Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship in summer.
You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments where innovation drives solutions to complex energy challenges.
You're familiar with intelligent agent frameworks, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases, and understand how these tools can enhance decision-making in grid software applications.
Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
You bring hands-on experience in developing machine learning models, including deep neural networks, graph neural networks, and time series forecasting—especially as applied to power system data and grid operations.
Currently enrolled in PhD/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with thesis work in Electrical Engineering (Focus on Power System Operation)
Power System Operation & Control – Courses and Projects
Strong Work/Academic background experience in electrical power systems with focus on Power System Operations (Transmission & Distribution)
Minimum cumulative or in-major 3.0/4.0 GPA.
Must be willing to work in an office located in Bellevue.
Experience with Simulation models for Power Systems
Benefits
