The associate will also support senior project team members, monitor engineering applications in the field, and engage with licensed engineers for mentorship. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in an ABET‑accredited engineering program, obtain EIT certification within six months, and possess 0‑2 years of experience. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license, are required.
- Perform engineering field assignments such as construction observation, site inspections, sampling, and surveying.
- Coordinate data tabulation, report production, permit applications, and development of design specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks on technical documents.
- Complete engineering calculations and analyses using basic design criteria.
- Collaborate with CAD technicians, field technicians, designers, and other team members to deliver projects accurately.
- Assist project management with schedule updates, cost estimating, and cost tracking.
- Interact professionally with clients, respond to inquiries, and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead and delegate tasks to junior staff on engineering assignments.
- Apply engineering and CAD standards and quality requirements throughout the design process.
- Engage licensed engineers for mentorship and accelerated learning.
- Analyze, interpret, and present engineering concepts and data.
- Meet time‑sensitive deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
