Review of all project specifications and documentation necessary to develop a thorough understanding of the scope of work.
Ensure power connection, RTD location, cable type and length, trace ratio, sheath temperature, heat loss and appropriate safety factor are applied for the EHT system design.
Ensure EHT Isometrics and designs are in line with the piping, instrumentation, mechanical information utilizing the latest P&ID, area classification & LDT while being consistent with the project code and IEEE515 requirements.
Follow established processes and procedures including Project Design guide, Project Execution Guide, Quality Plan and provide input where deficiencies occur.
Create and review drawings using Computrace software by Thermon and TraceCalc Pro software by Chemelex.

Minimum 5 - 10 years of preferably Oil and Gas related engineering experience in Electrical Heat Tracing with APEGA membership.

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Design from a recognized technical institute or comparable industry experience.
