NEPA Team Lead in Dayton, Ohio

Description

• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as stakeholders and the public.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and consistency in environmental documentation.
• Lead and manage NEPA compliance projects, including Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and Environmental Assessments (EAs).
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct impact analyses, review technical reports, and provide strategic guidance on environmental planning.
• Stay up to date with NEPA regulations, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in planning and realizing stated project plans/goals.
• In-depth knowledge of NEPA regulations, CEQ guidelines, and federal agency NEPA processes.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in NEPA project management, environmental consulting, or related fields.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated professionalism, energy and enthusiasm as a company representative.
• Working knowledge of computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Natural Resources, or a related field.
• Experience working with agencies such as USACE, FHWA, BLM, or DOE is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills - understanding and setting priorities to realize value added and focused activities and deliverables.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to listen, learn and communicate at highest levels.
