The role is for an Electrical Project Engineer who enjoys managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and will join the multi‑disciplined site‑based team in Dublin 15. The engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed scopes, defining electrical requirements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors while ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed project scopes and apply value engineering where possible.
- Identify and evaluate MCCs/electrical installations for integrity and efficiency improvements.
- Define electrical requirements for capital projects and liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
- Manage project execution focusing on safety, schedule, cost, and compliance with engineering practices and regulations.
- Coordinate with construction management and equipment vendors.
- Enforce strict adherence to safe working practices as outlined in company safety policies.
- Oversee electrical projects throughout the full lifecycle and ensure compliance with client procedures and standards.
- Install and commission GMP and non‑GMP manufacturing and utility systems.
- Support validation and qualification of GMP equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments to troubleshoot issues.
- Develop project management expertise in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Secure longer‑term contracts through the Managed Service model.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team.

- Hold a relevant third‑level degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Possess 5+ years of experience delivering electrical projects in complex GMP manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrate ability to read, understand, and fault‑find electrical schematics during FATs and on‑site commissioning.
- Knowledge of hazardous area and ATEX requirements is advantageous.
- Experience with instrumentation, automation, PLC/BMS/SCADA/DCS upgrades and process safety improvements.
- Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Excellent communication and organisation skills across all organisational levels.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
