Piping Estimator

Description

• Uphold safety, integrity, accountability, and inclusion in all work.

• Analyze documents, specifications, and proposals for pricing.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from construction drawings.
• Source supplier pricing and incorporate into estimates.
• Compile labor, equipment, material, rental, and subcontract costs for tender submissions.
• Ensure tender accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with pre‑qualification, RFQs, and RFIs as needed.
• Review project sites prior to pricing and conduct post‑bid/project analyses.
• Track and report key performance indicators.
• Maintain estimate files, correspondence, and data systems.
• Support field staff with estimating assistance.
• Enforce estimating process compliance and risk management policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key subcontractors.
• Promote an inclusive culture that fosters equity and belonging.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience, including time‑and‑material and unit‑rate quoting.
• Experience leading fabrication shops or welding operations preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and contract documents.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project, P6, SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Accubid.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and adapt to flexible schedules.
