  • 2-years’ experience in commercial & residential roofing, preferably in the field of slate and sheet metal roofing
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be able to work with and use different types of hand and power tools
  • Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance for base access or other Federal projects
  • Having a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record of 4 points or less is preferred but not required.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and from ladders, man lifts, scaffoldings etc
  • Must be able to transport materials and or equipment from the ground to the roof.
  • Must be able to carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • The Durable Slate Company is a Drug Free workplace, and candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, as well as occasional random screening as needed
