As a Geospatial Analyst and Consultant you will be responsible for contributing to client proposals and developing high quality geospatial products, services and advice. This role will also support other Technical and Advisory Consultants across the company.

Assist in the development and delivery training in the use of GIS tools.
Provide input to optimising and adapting existing products and services.
As part of a team, design and deliver cartographic products, spatial analysis, visualisation tools, spatial analysis, geospatial data products and services.
Assist in data creation and improvement for geospatial data products and services.
Develop technical documents, reports and summaries as required.

You will offer at least 4 years experience in a similar role
Relevant tertiary qualifications in GIS, Geospatial Science, geospatial information systems or natural resource systems, preferably both, or equivalent experience.
Experience in the provision of advisory services including the development of strategies and/or business requirements for IT and/or geospatial solutions.
Experience preparing concise, high quality proposals, project documentation and reports.
Skills or experience in general use of GIS software packages.
Skills or experience in raster based spatial analysis.
Skills or experience in the development of spatial services including map and geo-processing services, both based on open standards and vendor offerings.
Skills or experience in Python scripting or other scripting or programming languages, particularly in a GIS or statistical analysis context, desirable.
