The Role
Overview
Manage daily accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring accurate transactions.

Tasks
-Conduct credit checks and set up new customers. -High-volume processing of invoices and matching to purchase orders. -Investigate and resolve receivable issues. -Prepare and send end-of-month statements. -Support a team learning environment and contribute to continuous improvement. -Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating where necessary. -Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external parties ( -Perform supplier statement reconciliations. -Process debtor payments, invoices, and credit notes. -Upload invoices to portal systems. -Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all transactions. -Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding accounts payable matters. -Handle ad-hoc finance administration duties as required. -Schedule and process weekly and monthly payments. -Cost and code invoices, allocating costs to jobs/projects. -Support a safe working environment and adhere to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) standards. -Daily banking and allocation of receipts.

What You Bring
-Favourable Australian Police Clearance (required for finance positions). -Demonstrated reconciliation, payment allocation, and data entry skills. -Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook). -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Experience in a project-based or construction environment. -Experience processing high-volume accounts in a similar-sized company. -Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) or other Oracle software. -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. -Certificate III/IV in Accounts Administration or similar.
