The Senior controls person role will be required to plan, track, analyse, and report performance on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Senior Project Controller will be required to lead on small project planning/controlling assignments, lead or be part of a team on large projects and extract accurate information, and lead a team of more junior planners/controllers in the delivery of planning to time, cost and quality. The Senior Project Controller is a key member of the program team and works directly with the Project Controls Manager/Project Manager to help define the project’s goals and objectives and recommend actions to improve progress and performance.
- Plan, track, analyze and report project performance across diverse contracts and risk levels.
- Lead small‑project planning/control tasks and contribute to large‑project teams.
- Guide junior planners/controllers to deliver planning within time, cost and quality targets.
- Collaborate with Project Controls Manager and Project Manager to set goals and recommend performance improvements.
- Coordinate with program managers, senior technical staff, contracts, finance, procurement and other functional areas.

The Senior Project Controller will have significant interface with Program/Project Managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounting, accounts receivable, subcontract management and procurement. Experience of planning and controlling for the UK rail industry will be advantageous.
- Possess experience in UK rail industry planning and control (advantageous).
- Operate in a safety‑focused culture recognized by multiple RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.
