What you would be doing

- Effective project control planning, analysis and adjustments
- Organizing and scheduling work for self, field crews and office support staff to accomplish goals on multiple projects simultaneously
- Approve time/effort of your direct reports
- Market and sell services on behalf of TNP, including responding to new OPPS, prospects, RFPs, etc
- Assist with outside Sales and Marketing for team
- Schedule regular mentoring sessions with the Production Team members under your direct reports' supervision
- Conducting analysis and preparing boundary surveys, right-of-way surveys, plats, and related documents
- Prepare your own individual action plan for professional development
- Establish and communicate team goals
- Approve all scopes, fees, schedules and contract agreements for your team
- Effectively managing & delivering project assignments within established budgets and timelines
- Communicate SOPs, guidelines and processes, and ensure that they are understood and followed
- Engage clients through relationship-building and/or marketing activities on regular intervals
- Mentor for Production Team members
- Manager for assigned clients
- Establishing good communication and collaborative working relationships with team members & clients
- Maintain strong overall financial performance
- Hire, fire, train & develop your direct reports
- Effectively coordinating & collaborating with engineering design teams
- Establish goals for your direct reports
- Monitor progress, performance and overall execution of your direct reports on an ongoing basis

- Knowledgeable in Trimble Business Center, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage & meet client expectations
- Ability to effectively organize and schedule work to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with other team members
- Strong commitment to professional development
- Must be a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor
- B.S. in Surveying or related field of study preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to effectively acquire, train & mentor a qualified & productive team
- Proficient in Civil 3D and Carlson software
- Demonstrated ability to meet client expectations
- Knowledge of Trimble GPS equipment and Robotic total station
- Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with other team members in a team-oriented environment
- Five (5) years minimum experience as a Project Manager and/or Team Leader
- Demonstrated ability to schedule work to meet deadlines
