The Branch Manager directs and coordinates employees who maintain, service and install commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring safety, labor productivity, inventory control and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include interpreting reports and blueprints, assisting with equipment diagnostics, preparing estimates, reviewing financial performance, managing inventory, scheduling labor, and enforcing safety policies.
- Read and interpret reports, correspondence, proposals, and blueprints.
- Assist staff in diagnosing commercial HVAC equipment.
- Prepare estimates and proposals for service jobs.
- Review financial statements and performance data to gauge productivity and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Estimate labor requirements based on production schedules.
- Direct employees in dismantling, assembling and installing HVAC equipment.
- Communicate company policies and provide safety training to prevent violations.
- Inspect work areas, monitor tools, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ensure proper accident reporting and management processes.
- Assign duties according to specifications, blueprints and job orders.
- Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance and product quality.
- Analyze and resolve work problems, supporting employees in problem‑solving.
- Initiate motivation plans to achieve performance goals.
- Supervise 4‑10 employees, handling hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline and conflict resolution.

Candidates must have an associate’s degree or equivalent technical education, at least five years of relevant HVAC experience, and a strong technical background. Preferred qualifications include HVAC industry knowledge, P&L management experience, NATE certification within the first year, and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification. The role also requires local travel, occasional overnight trips, the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and proficiency with MS Office.
- Hold an Associate’s degree or equivalent technical education.
- Possess 5+ years of HVAC industry experience; P&L management experience preferred.
- Achieve NATE certification within the first year as Branch Manager.
- Maintain EPA Type I/II or Universal certification (preferred).
- Ability to travel locally, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lb.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

This salaried, exempt position offers a base salary of $70,000‑$80,000 annually, with eligibility for monthly and annual bonuses. Additional benefits include tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, short‑term disability, paid parental and bonding leave, generous paid time off, well‑being days, volunteer days, holidays and floating holidays.
