Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction estimates, as well as additional documentation related to a project.
Under the direction of the assigned Group Supervisor, manage a segment of a project.
Maintain engineering document indices and drafting progress reports on projects. Confirm checking and approval for all vendor shop drawings.
Assist in estimating project design and drafting manpower requirements.
Schedule work assignments while providing guidance, training and assistance to designers, checkers and drafters on small to medium size projects.
Execute project objectives working with drafters, designers, engineers and support personnel in the planning, scheduling, quality and execution of projects.
Responsible for the final approval of drawings to ensure conform it with applicable codes and specifications and established discipline standards.
Manage the completion of all required deliverables including construct ion drawings, design studies and bills of materials.
Implement assignments and activities delegated from the Group Supervisor.
Coordinate with client and construction personnel to ensure the client's input and job requirements are adequately addressed and implemented consistently with the contractual requirements.

Overall understanding of technical disciplines and project execution.
Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments. Coordinate a variety of tasks with good attention to detail. Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Plant 3D and/or Aveva E3D
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Certificate in Design/Drafting preferred.
High School diploma or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses.
Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.
Chemical/Refinery/Power/LNG background
Strong supervision skills with the ability to mentor, lead, train and motivate employees to produce quality work.
Research skills, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, questioning and feedback skills, project and time management skills.
Minimum 1-5 years of piping design experience within the power or energy & chemicals industry.
Strong CAD skills with experience in AutoCad, Microstation, or Revit with a willingness to learn the other platforms as required.
Proficient in CADWorx, Navisworks and Microsoft Office
