Verifies the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
Verify DD form 1149 / 1348s are accurately completed prior to ordering and arrival of commercial trucks.
Checks for damaged goods; ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the installation.
Ensures that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.

Effective organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs unassisted.
Exposure to weather conditions such as rain, wind, extreme heat and cold.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
Familiarity with Defense Transportation Regulation covering Cargo movement.
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision.
Must process a current HAZMAT Certification or obtain within six months of acceptance of position.
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, up to 8 hrs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as face mask covering mouth and nose, steel or compost toe safety shoes, to include hand and head wear.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
