Assist Project Manager to maintain client communications and relationships
Reviews project activities with client and contractor's field supervision to resolve disputes and other project issues
Leads construction meetings with clients and contractors
Plans, reviews, and assigns work of construction field office personnel including Lochner staff, sub-consultants and partners
Work with client and contractor to manage construction budget and schedule
Read and Interpret complex contract plans and specifications
Assist Project Manager with management of Lochner’s budget, schedule and staffing

driver’s license
10+ years of construction engineering and inspection experience on highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects is required.
Read and interpret construction contract language
A valid Driver’s License is required
At least 5 years working as a resident engineer on projects with increasing size and complexity.
IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification is required
Effective oral and written communication skills
Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects
IDOT, Tollway, and/or Cook, DuPage, Will Counties projects is preferred.
Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Illinois is required.
BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
