Food Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead all aspects of food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality management within our facility. This role ensures that all products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and consistency, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across operations.

• Develop and maintain product specifications, SOPs, and quality policies in alignment with regulatory and customer expectations.
• Investigate quality and food safety issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Monitor, track, and report on key quality metrics, including customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, process improvements, and innovation initiatives.
• Partner with operations, sanitation, and maintenance teams to ensure food safety risks are mitigated and processes are continuously improved.
• Oversee and manage the facility’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs, including HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC, and other relevant certifications.
• Provide leadership, training, and coaching for quality and food safety staff, building a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GFSI, and customer requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness at all times.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated success leading audits (FDA, USDA, customer, or third-party).
• 5+ years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, SQF/BRC, and GFSI standards.
