Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an asset
Excellent work ethic and desire to succeed
Ability to confidently relate with all levels of staff and clientele - Internal and External
Knowledge and understanding of Canadian design standards and codes
Coordination with other design disciplines (Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, etc…)
Strong project management and coordination skills with a strong ability to lead the structural design of projects. You will work in a multi-disciplined team environment and will be expected to demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of the team
Ability to lead teams consisting of multiple engineers and CAD staff
Effective communication in the English language (verbal and written)
Experience with Microsoft Office and software such as Bluebeam is expected
Registered P. Eng in Ontario Province
Proficiency and understanding of structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, Robot, SAP2000 is expected
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in structural design
Knowledge of 3D BIM is an asset such as REVIT & Navisworks
Knowledge of US codes and standards is an asset
