The Presales Engineer will manage end‑to‑end techno‑commercial activities for fire and security projects in India across verticals such as infrastructure, industries, fit‑outs, and key accounts. Responsibilities include reviewing project inputs, preparing designs and BOQs, coordinating with OEMs and subcontractors, optimizing costing sheets, and ensuring quality through internal reviews before submission to the sales front desk.
- Review project inputs and intake forms, then initiate kick‑off calls with the front desk
- Create designs on floor plans and develop BOQs where missing
- Identify risks, communicate them to customers, and propose mitigation
- Engage OEMs and subcontractors to obtain solutions and proposals
- Analyze OEM proposals, benchmark costs, and prepare optimized techno‑commercial costing sheets, proposals, and compliance statements
- Perform self‑QC and coordinate second‑level QC with the Delivery Manager before submission
- Update SFDC, complete timesheets, and finish required training on schedule
- Negotiate pricing with OEMs and coordinate with internal ops/post‑sales teams
- Participate in daily/cadence calls and contribute to win‑rate improvement strategies
- Align work with KPIs such as quality, on‑time delivery, win rate, and productivity

Candidates must hold a BE in Electrical/Electronics/Communication and have at least six years of relevant ELV experience. Required expertise includes fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PAVA, structured cabling, and network systems, as well as strong presales and estimation skills across multiple industry verticals. Proficiency in ACAD, Visio, Excel, and a solid vendor network in India are essential.
- BE in Electrical/Electronics/Communication
- 6+ years of ELV systems presales and estimation experience in India
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PAVA, intrusion detection, intercom, parking, structured cabling, and network switches
- Proven ability to develop complex costing sheets covering material, engineering, operations, and subcontractor costs
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce high‑quality technical proposals
- Established network with third‑party vendors in India
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and Excel
- Experience with leading access‑control products (e.g., Lenel, HID, Suprema) and CCTV products (e.g., Milestone, Axis) preferred
