- Pick, pack and label customer orders.
- Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Produce packing slips and maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external).
- Comply with applicable shipping laws, regulations and standards.
- Address internal and external customer concerns and issues related to shipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment.
- Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock.
- Adhere to Finning safety, house keeping, shipping and receiving policies, procedures and standards.
- Perform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment as well as replenish warehouse supplies as needed.
- Complete 3-way match to purchase order and vender invoice to verify shipment order accuracy.
- Monitor pending inbound and outbound orders to ensure most timely completion of all customer orders.
- Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning housekeeping standards and to ensure a safe work environment.
- Arrange for trucking/courier company pick ups.
- Hose building may be required.
- Work as part of a team to meet branch commitments to company and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to form strong relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Self-motivated team player with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands in a face paced team environment.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
- General warehousing and industry knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of DBS parts inventory & transaction systems.

- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis using approved and safe techniques and unaided by equipment.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and/or Caterpillar parts would be considered an asset.
