- Two or more years of related experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
- Preferred certifications: HVAC and EPA.
- Strong communication and interaction skills with co‑workers, managers, vendors, and residents.
- Advanced ability to use small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and small machinery repair.
- Extensive knowledge of appliances.
- Basic computer skills for mobile devices and PCs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle or electrical cart.
- Availability for regular on‑call assignments, emergency calls, off‑hours work, and overtime.
- Ability to arrive at the property for service requests within 60 minutes.
- Willingness to travel to regional locations for work, training, and meetings.
- Physical capability to lift/carry up to 65 lb and perform frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, and ladder use.
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments, all weather conditions, and potentially hazardous settings.
- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards.
