The Chief Manager – Lead Planner reports directly to the Project Director and is responsible for both capital and expense projects within the Transmission Grid, covering the construction of transmission lines, substations, and the implementation of Smart Grid solutions.
The role requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, operations and other functions to ensure that project plans are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and Annual Operating Plan, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A key part of the position is the development and delivery of Management Information System reports and executive presentations that provide insight into project performance, financials, and strategic alignment for senior leadership.
The position involves regular travel to project sites and demands a blend of behavioural competencies such as impact, initiative and innovative thinking, together with functional expertise in financial, operational, people and strategic areas.
