Lifting of weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basis.
Removes scrap and trash from manufacturing areas
Weigh count and stage transacted molded materials for put-away
Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be worn
Generates production, move and scrap transactions as needed to ensure inventory accuracy
Clean auxiliary equipment that supports Injection Mold process
Performs in-process inspection of injection molded components which includes visual inspection and/or dimensional measurement for conformance to requirements defined on drawings, Standard Inspection Plans, Visual Factory or other documents

Understanding of basic math skills - adding, subtracting and measuring
Minimum three (3) months experience in a manufacturing environment as an assembler, quality control or injection mold position
Ability to use judgment related to identifying and segregating non-conforming materials and components
Previous injection molding experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions both verbally and in written format
Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
Ability to safely prepare, operate and clean auxiliary equipment as appropriate for the successful completion of injection molding tasks
Ability to perform inventory movement transactions
May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to use judgement to identify potential safety hazards
Ability to read drawings & blueprints
Eye and foot protection may have to be worn
The occasional physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination
There is potential exposure to extreme temperatures
High School education or GED preferred
This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and/or walking and assisting production employees
Ability to multi-task
Ability to read, understand, and navigate through online assembly process documents
