Follow project cost control procedures and operate in company established systems.
Support the development of cost performance reports and presentation materials for senior management.
Review and approve third party invoices.
Prepare project cost forecasts, including direct costs, indirect costs, equipment costs, and third party costs.
Monitor, analyze and report project costs compare those to budgeted costs and perform variance analysis.
Prepare and/oversee company invoices ensuring compliance with the contract.
Ensure that all cost-related data is properly entered and maintained in the project cost control system.
Coordinate with other departments AR, AP, and payroll on day to day operations.
Develop and/or oversee earned value management tools.
Work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure that project cost information is properly integrated into project plans and schedules.
Review and analyze contractor and vendor cost reports and forecasts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Understand contract and determine original scope from change scope and ensure costs are captured appropriately.
Experience in cost estimating, forecasting, and trend analysis.
Strong knowledge of project cost control principles, procedures, and systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in the use of cost estimating software, such as Primavera, Excel, and Ecosys.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in supporting large-scale, long term EPC projects preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience in lump sum contracts and time and materials contracts preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5-7 years of experience in cost engineering and project controls.
