Reporting to the Director of VDC/BIM Services, the BIM Designer will develop, coordinate, and review BIM models for complex construction projects using intermediate-level Revit and Navisworks skills. The position involves creating and managing central models, conducting clash detection, supporting prefabrication, performing quality assurance checks, and mentoring junior team members to ensure models are accurate, constructible, and aligned with project standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of Revit/BIM experience (or seven years in electrical construction), and intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Proficiency with advanced Revit MEP features, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and digital layout tools is required, along with strong problem‑solving, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills. A collaborative, team‑oriented approach, willingness to travel 5–10%, and experience on healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical projects are preferred.
