The role is for an ECC NEC Project Manager working within the capital delivery team for a utilities provider in the eastern geographic area. The manager will oversee multiple water and water‑recycling projects under the client's AMP8 programme, ensuring adherence to project governance, risk, cost and change‑control procedures.
The position requires ownership of projects throughout their life cycle, preparation and maintenance of project management plans, and proactive monitoring of progress, inter‑dependencies and risks. It also involves driving design development, conducting surveys, managing NEC3/4 contract administration, and ensuring delivery on time, to quality standards and within budget.

Candidates should have at least eight years of project management experience in the water sector or another regulated industry, with a track record of delivering large, complex infrastructure schemes. They must be digitally savvy, familiar with tools such as Oracle and Primavera P6, and able to build strong client relationships and lead motivated teams. Experience with ECC PM delegations, early‑warning meetings, portfolio board membership, and a solid understanding of NEC3 ECC clauses and basic contract law is also required.
