- Assisting with construction administration duties, including but not limited to coordinating shopdrawing review process, Request for Information responses, and site visits (as needed)
- Assisting with field data collection and analysis of environmental data
- Participating in preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure, transportation, treatment and pumping facilities
- Preparing and compiling cost estimates
- Performing research and contacting vendors or contractors for information
- Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports
- Performing calculations and managing large data sets, along with exposure to GIS and engineering design

- Have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and take direction
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Possess the ability to collaborate with teammates to deliver projects effectively and efficiently
- Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: Planning, design, construction of water and wastewater infrastructure, including linear design (sewers, watermains, drainage), facility design (piping systems, pumping, hydraulics), or process treatment (wastewater treatment, water treatment).
- In progress toward earning a University Bachelor's degree or College Diploma (C.E.T.) (minimum) in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering or related field
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Be familiar with and show interest in spreadsheets and other data management software
