Conducts random HSE inspections of other projects, plants, and labor accommodation facilities as per Group HSE Office programs.
Supervises, organizes, and assigns work programs to all HSE Officers and Inspectors.

Develops HSE monitoring programs, undertakes daily safety inspections, and recommends corrective actions to the PM/CM/Subcontractors.
Inspects and audits all site operations, ensuring adherence to company SOPs, HSE Plan, and policy.
Acts as in-charge of the Project HSE Department in the absence of the HSE Manager.
Monitors the activities and attendance of site nurses and other safety personnel.
Promotes HSE culture as a core value and implements a zero-accident tolerance strategy.
Tracks and monitors close-out of safety violations and observes site safety rules, issuing warnings or improvement notices as necessary.
Investigates all OHS-related accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing inspection and analysis reports as needed.
Has authority, equivalent to the HSE Manager, to issue stop work orders on site in case of imminent danger.
Communicates and reports safety performance to line management.
Accountable to the HSE Manager and functionally reports to the Project Manager for maintaining the highest safety standards throughout project execution.
Assists in preparing monthly safety reports for submission to the Project Manager and Group HSE Office.
Leads and actively participates in construction and operational HSE management, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (as HSE Engineer, Lead or above) accompanied by Post-Secondary HSE Qualification (NVQ level 3).
Must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the field of Health and Safety. Must have high-rise building experience.
Level 6 OHS Diploma (NBOSH or OTIHM or equivalent), NEBOSH General Certificate in OHS (or NVQ level 3 equivalent) and ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification mandatory, preferable OSHA 10 – 30 Hrs. General Industry Safety and Health Program and/or other HSE related training desired.
Demonstrates capable interpersonal and communication skills, expressing ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (as HSE Engineer, Lead or above) accompanied by an HSE related Master’s Degree from an accredited University; or
Bachelor of Engineering Degree in HSE, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Industrial Engineering etc.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience (as HSE Engineer, Lead or above) accompanied by an HSE related Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University; or NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6 or above).
