Assure production plans are communicated timely and monitored. Daily assess material shortages that need to be expedited and follow up with the appropriate Deployment / Planning personnel to ensure commitments are achieved.
Maintain system parameters, data, and settings to ensure the various systems utilize accurate data.
Serve as a liaison between the business, master scheduling and operation teams in support of achieving customer service level expectations.
Create and execute optimized finite machine production schedules in support of the business demand and plant performance goals.
Take ownership of daily and weekly production plans, identifying potential obstacles to completing plans efficiently while meeting production targets. Meet on a cadence with the manufacturing team to assess production schedules and adjust as necessary based on production results. Optimize run quantities and minimize changeovers.
Identify slow moving inventories and develop plans for disposition and waste reduction.

Experience as a production scheduler/planner working within a manufacturing operation.
One (1) or more years of experience working within a manufacturing operation.
High school diploma.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher within a Supply Chain, Purchasing or Business field.
Experience in a high SKU environment with multiple manufacturing facilities and multiple warehouse locations.
Experience in material planning or inventory Control Management.
Experience with SAP/WMS (Warehouse Management System) software.
Experience working with an inventory control system.
