Arch Environmental Group is seeking an outgoing, self‑motivated, hard‑working person to join our cleanWATER Environmental Team, a leading provider of stormwater, wastewater, chemical hygiene and drinking water consulting services throughout Michigan. The Environmental Consultant 2 – UST System Focus will prepare reports and manuals for a range of project types, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The role requires a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field and experience managing underground storage tank (UST) systems and remediation projects.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess either a master’s degree with three years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree with five years, or a high‑school diploma/GED with seven years of experience. They must have working knowledge of environmental regulatory concepts, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and be willing to adjust schedules and work outside normal hours as needed.
Preferred qualifications include consulting experience, Class A/B UST Operator certification, Registered Environmental Manager or CHMM credentials, and engineering experience. Work can be 25‑50 % field‑based and 50‑75 % office‑based, with remote and flexible work‑from‑home options available.
