Design Engineer

Description

• Manage projects from start to finish - Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and performance goals are consistently achieved.

• Deliver exceptional designs - Produce fully coordinated, accurate HVAC and plumbing system designs that meet project requirements, codes, and quality standards.
• Building Performance - Control systems, fault detection, energy services, and remote monitoring
• Takes full ownership and accountability for your work, ensuring every task is completed with excellence.
• Service - Scheduled preventive maintenance ensuring tenant comfort and 24/7 emergency response
• Collaborate across disciplines - Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design intent aligns seamlessly with construction execution.
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation - Create and maintain detailed calculations, reports, and design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.

Requirements

• Technologically proficient, comfortable with Microsoft Office, and quick to adapt to new software and tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
• Highly dependable, consistently tracking deliverables, reviewing work thoroughly, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across departments and disciplines.
• Exceptionally organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledgeable of relevant building codes and industry standards, ensuring compliance and best practices
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with demonstrated expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems design
• Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently without compromising quality.
• Experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
