Global leader in electrification, automation and digitization for industries, infrastructure and buildings.
The Data Product Manager will lead the development of Schneider Electric’s Energy & Industrial data platform, enabling advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and semantic interoperability across global operations. The role works closely with engineering, architecture, and domain experts to shape product vision, prioritize capabilities, and ensure alignment with business outcomes. Candidates should combine industrial domain knowledge with cloud-native data architecture experience, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
Key responsibilities include defining the platform’s roadmap for data ingestion, processing, and storage, and overseeing the implementation of OneLake Medallion architecture and related data product frameworks. The manager will partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate use cases into product requirements, act as the voice of the customer, and ensure governance, security, and privacy standards are met. Driving adoption through clear documentation, onboarding, and enablement programs is also essential.
Required qualifications consist of an industrial background in manufacturing, energy, or process sectors with OT/IT integration experience, hands-on proficiency in Azure data services, and familiarity with Medallion architecture and semantic technologies such as RDF and SPARQL. Proven product management capabilities, including roadmap creation, user story development, and Agile backlog management, are needed along with strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred candidates have over five years of experience building cloud data or industrial IoT platforms, exposure to AI/ML tools, knowledge of industrial data standards, and an understanding of knowledge graphs and data governance.
Applicants must submit an online application, which will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the role is filled. Schneider Electric strongly prefers candidates located in the Boston area and does not consider remote applicants. The company cannot sponsor immigration now or in the future, so only candidates who do not require such assistance may apply.
This full-time U.S. position offers a salary range of $139,200 to $208,800 per year, which includes base pay and a short-term incentive. Schneider Electric provides a comprehensive benefits package that covers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and additional credits through Benefit Bucks. Employees also enjoy flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, wellness and recognition programs, 12 paid holidays, and 15 days of PTO (prorated in the first year). Additional perks include the option to purchase company stock and military leave benefits.
