What You Bring
-strong communication skills, including the ability to write technical notes, newsletters, social media, website content and detailed reports -a relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in agriculture, environmental science or a related discipline -able to demonstrate experience of working as a Farm, Environment or Catchment Advisor or Agronomist, although applications from graduates are also welcome -some knowledge of or experience using nutrient accounting tools and delivering projects -a valid UK driving licence. -knowledge of agri-environment stewardship schemes -able to work independently and as part of a team -able to work effectively in the field and in an office environment -a FACTS qualification, or the ability to achieve this within two years of appointment -knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory processes in agriculture and the water industry -effective time management skills -knowledge of sustainable farming practices, especially soil/nutrient/manure management and nature-based solutions -an excellent communicator -confident talking to and dealing with the farming community
