Technicians are expected to service air‑cooled, water‑cooled, industrial chillers, AHUs and large rooftop units, especially in petro‑chemical, pharmaceutical or data‑center settings. They will act as trusted advisors, diagnosing inefficiencies, providing solutions, upselling opportunities and detailed quotations. The role includes startup, commissioning and aftermarket service, with access to factory certification through the Service Technical Academy and tools, uniforms and a company vehicle.
Candidates must have at least twelve years of hands‑on experience with the listed equipment, strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting skills and be willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices. They should be capable of leading complex repairs, mentoring peers, serving as an escalation point for technical issues, and maintaining ammonia/hydrocarbon safety certifications. Required competencies include repairing centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, various chiller types, mechanical shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and working with multiple OEM control panels and Allen‑Bradley systems. Travel of 10‑20 % and passing a knowledge examination are also required.
