Entry Level Environmental Scientist

Description

• Conduct natural resource surveys, including wetland delineations, functional assessments, wildlife habitat evaluations, and rare species surveys.
• Prepare technical studies and reports.
• Assist project managers with federal, state, and local permit applications.
• Perform permit compliance monitoring.
• Identify and key out Northeast plant species and characterize soil profiles.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Hold a BS in biology, ecology, environmental science, natural resources, wetland science, or a related field.
• Possess 0‑1 year of field work experience in natural habitats.
• Willingness to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions and travel regularly throughout New England.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
