Perform quality walk-throughs at various phases of construction to review quality in all phases of work.
Document inspection activities as well as direction provided to other production employees and subcontractors.
Assist with subcontractor review, job cost review and investigation of discrepancies.
Participate in review of completed plans coming out of development/design to ensure buildability and identify potential quality issues.
Investigate quality issues submitted on Problem Reports and respond.
Meet or exceed previous performance levels in the areas defined by the key indicators and specific goals for the position and the Division.
Verify completion of quality inspection items, either through onsite checks or following up with Area Superintendent.
Participate in the building of prototypes working with Estimators and Purchasing on estimates and purchase orders. Identify and document structural issues, problem spots and material use.
Provide field verification of construction details on plans and recommend/submit clarifications/changes.
