Finance Manager

Overview

Oversee monthly GAAP/STAT financials, manage accounting ops, reporting, and financial analysis.

Tasks

-Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and enhanced financial reporting capabilities. -Manage recording and reporting actuals for expenses (invoices, vendor setup, GL, etc.) -Assist with financial data reconciliation -Partner with operations, HR, and executive leadership on financial planning and business strategy. -Assist, develop and execute to Model Audit Rule compliance -Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations. -Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits and tax filings. -Conduct financial reconciliation and reporting of accounts for all company’s entities -Maintain weekly cash forecasts -Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing processes. -Coordinate with outside consultants on financial, tax and other statutory State filings, including quarterly/annual statutory financial statement filings.

-Experience working with accounting systems -High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills -Bachelor’s degree in accounting -Strong background in financial statement analysis -Minimum of 6 years’ accounting and/or finance experience -Experience working in healthcare industry -Experience in creating and managing various operational and financial reports -History of building strong relationships across teams
