• Attend client meetings
• Perform engineering design and analysis tasks for bridges and other structures
• Participate in occasional bridge site visits and/or assist with bridge inspections
• Prepare reports efficiently in Word and Excel

Requirements

Wetherill Engineering, Inc. (WEI) is seeking a full-time Bridge/Structural Engineer to join our Raleigh office. This position involves performing engineering design and analysis for bridges and related structures, preparing technical reports, and assisting with site visits and bridge inspections. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, have at least two years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenBridge, and bridge design software is preferred.

• Prefer minimum 5 years’ experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organized
• Experience in MicroStation, Open Bridge, Bridge design software’s, Microsoft Office, Revu Blue Beam
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• NCDOT Bridge Design experience preferred, but not required
• P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) required
• Highly motivated and hard working
