Applicants must have at least four years of craft experience; a Master Journeyman needs an NCCER‑approved certification. Required knowledge includes MasTec health and safety programs, OSHA standards, and the ability to interpret drawings and measurements. Workers must provide personal safety toe boots and approved hand tools, while the company supplies power tools and protective gear.
The position entails up to 12‑hour shifts, 50 hours per week, with physical work in varying temperatures and weather, including lifting up to 50 lb and operating at heights. Travel up to 90 % is required, with most time spent on project sites. Employees must adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping.
