

Sells, rents and services new and used heavy construction, mining, forestry and material‑handling equipment.
Technicians perform repair work at customer job sites on a wide variety of equipment, ranging from complete machine overhauls to minor tasks such as fixing leaks and changing fluids. Repairs can include rebuilding engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and pumps, as well as testing components on dyno equipment. Installations may involve undercarriage work on track machines, attaching hammers or scalers to excavators, and fitting quick‑coupler attachments on loaders, excavators and backhoes.
Daily duties include troubleshooting equipment failures, conducting diagnostic checks, disassembling machines, ordering parts, completing repairs, re‑assembling and verifying that the unit is leak‑free and ready for work. Technicians also clean parts, prepare gaskets for assembly, maintain a company vehicle, travel to job sites and vendor training sessions, and adhere to all safety requirements, including overtime when needed.
The position is a full‑time Heavy Equipment Service Technician based in Carrollton, KY (41008). The role requires a high school education (or equivalent) and involves up to 25 % regional travel, working primarily daytime shifts.
Candidates must have at least five years of heavy‑equipment experience, a valid driver’s license with a good record, and strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturer diagnostic software is required, along with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. The role demands physical ability to lift up to 70 lb, work at heights of 20 ft, and operate in all weather conditions, while providing excellent customer service and passing background, physical and drug screenings.
