As a member of the mechanical design team, you will create detailed 3‑D mechanical layout drawings, design mechanical systems, troubleshoot design issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams throughout the detailed design phase.
- Generate mechanical design schematics and integrated plant layout models using 3D modeling software.
- Develop and deliver mechanical design documents such as general arrangements, piping isometrics, pipe support drawings, and equipment location drawings.
- Coordinate detailed design phases with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support field walkdowns for data gathering.
- Mentor and guide less‑experienced drafters and designers in the use of drafting tools and best practices.

The position requires at least ten years of hands‑on mechanical design experience, an Associate’s degree (or equivalent drafting training), and proficiency with 3‑D plant layout software; experience with MicroStation and laser‑scanning point clouds is a plus.
