Prepare and present technical content for clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders.
Apply and interpret O. Reg. 153/04 requirements, including PRA/DSRA, vapour intrusion assessments, and development of risk management measures.
Support proposal writing, project scoping, and client relationship development.
Lead environmental impact assessments and other licensing/permitting activities for a variety of mining and energy clients.
Contribute to development and implementation of risk assessment strategy with other team members to grow the business; and
Provide senior technical input on environmental impact assessments (federal, provincial), licensing submissions, and regulatory approvals.
Review technical work, provide constructive feedback, and support staff skill development.
Work with other innovative thinkers to cultivate business development opportunities.
Lead, design, and conduct Human Health Risk Assessments (HHRA) and Ecological Risk Assessments (ERA) for projects in the mining, nuclear, and contaminated sites sectors.
Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate risk assessors.

Considered a Qualified Person for Risk Assessment (QPRA) in Ontario (or equivalent);
University degree in toxicology, engineering or science (graduate degree is preferred);
Project experience with early and effective Indigenous community engagement related to the environmental assessment process a major plus;
Demonstrated environmental assessment experience on major projects, preferably mining and/or nuclear projects;
Experience training and mentoring staff on projects.
Excellent project management skills
Accomplished at using spreadsheets (or equivalent) to coalesce and evaluate complex datasets and develop exposure models;
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail; and
Excellent analytical skills;
Effective communication skills (verbal and written);
Experience with in-situ rehabilitation methods; and
Demonstrated success completing human and ecological risk assessments under O. Reg 153/04 and federal guidelines such as FCSAP and developing Risk Management Plans;
Minimum of 10 to 15 years post degree experience in risk assessment with project management experience;
